Infuse according to the source passage: 589 be mixed with an equal quantity of sweet spirit of nitre, . of which mixture a tea-spoonful, three times a day, in the infusion of cloves, is the proper dose. Should the complaint prove particularly obstinate, which is not uncommon, I would recommend a trial of the following pills, instead of those made with the compound ipecacuanha powder alone.
