- Take of Solution of Sub- acetate of Lead, six fluid ounces ;
- Melt the wax with sixteen ounces of the oil by the heat of a water bath ; remove the vessel, and, as soon as the mixture begins to thicken, gradually add the solution of subacetate of lead, and stir the mixture constantly imtil it cools ; then add the cam- phor dissolved in the rest of the oil, and mix tho- roughly.
