• Afterwards subject the contents of the percolator to pressure, filter the product, mix the liquids, and add sufficient proof spirit to make one pint

• Distilled Water, three pints and a half
• Eemove the marc, and digest it in three pints of the water at 160° for twelve hours

5. Press out, strain, and evaporate tlie liquor by the heat of a water-bath to nine fluid ounces ; when cold, add the spirit.
