Method as extracted
- Add 3 ifs. of Camphire to the former, diffolved in a few Drops of Oil of Almonds.
- Take of Oil-olive a Pint ; yellow Wax, yellow Rolin, and Burgundy Pitch, of each fbj. of common Turpentine |iij.
- Melt the Wax, Rofin, and Pitch with the Oil over a gentle Fire ; then take them off, and add the Turpentine.
- Strain it while it is hot.
- Take of yellow Bafilicum Jviij. of Oil-olive Jiij of prepared Verdigreafe ^j.
- Mix and make them into an Ointment.
- Take of Hogs Lard tried jfeiv. of Quickdlver ifoj. of Turpentine Jj.
- Rub the Quickdlver with the Turpentine in a Mortar till it difappears ; then warm the Lard,, and add it gradually, mixing them well together.
